  • Correct image and representation of the Hotel in a dignified form towards customers and negotiating partners
 

  • Continuous improvement of the product range and the image of the hotel.

 

  • Contribution to the optimal economic success of the hotel with rational use of operating resources

 

  • Integration and use of Yield Management in daily sales

 

  • Practical implementation of corporate and operating targets

 

  • Guest oriented approach to acquire and retain satisfied customers / guests.

 

  • Setting his individual sales targets with the Director of Sales and monitoring of the results.

 

 

  • Co-ordination of the hotel’s sales activities with the aim of optimal room occupancy and high accommodation and F&B sales and other revenues.
  • Development, design and calculation of attractive offers for individual customers travel agents and companies.

 

  • Along with the Hotel Sales & Marketing team is responsible for proposing and implementing marketing strategies that promote revenue growth generation among key targeted segments and support the hotel’s brand positioning and image. Responsibilities may include leveraging and executing social media and website strategies in partnership with appropriate corporate brand marketing and hotel revenue management teams to achieve brand position and revenue growth goals.

 

  • Proposes and implements hotel specific marketing strategies, including website and social media
  • Monitors marketing trends, tools and applications specific to the hotel industry and target market(s).
  • Measures and reports impact of marketing strategies
  • Provides input to hotel marketing strategy
  •  Work with Revenue Management to ensure revenue management potential is maximized on key marketing strategies, including approved 3rd party websites.
  • Generates and delivers monthly marketing analyses and updates to Revenue Management team

 

 

  • Implements sales promotion actions in-house, locally, regionally and supra-regionally.
  • Planning, co-ordination and implementing of all sales trips in this country by agreement with the Director of Sales.
  • Represents the hotel at national and international specialist trade fairs and workshops, agreed by the DOSM and in co-ordination with the whole Revenue Department.
  • Regular visits and agreements with large and prestigious customers, identification of potential new accounts and assuring the corresponding sales activities to win these customers.
  • Organisation and management of promotions, site inspections and famtrips.
  • Ensures permanent observation of the market and competitors, involvement in drawing up analyses of competitors and statistics.
  • Planning, organisation of written, telephone and personal contacts with customers and supervision of these contacts as long as preparing groups and individual proposal and contracts agreement.
  • New acquisition of customers in all segments
  • Organise comprehensive information to existing and potential customers as regards the product range offered by the hotel, with the aid of the relevant sales resources and sales channels
  • Preparation and drawing up of company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and price conditions.
  • Monitoring the offers, options and cancellations for repeat bookings for groups, conventions, and seminars with the C&E Department and Reservations.
  • In customer care and acquisition for  Sxxx Hotels & Resorts, also include cross selling for all other  world wide’s property and  market this correspondingly.
  • To coordinate new printed materials with the advertising agency,
  • To ensure corporate Identity standards for all promotional material.
  • To coordinate and oversee the production of existing collateral and the development of new promotional materials.
  • To ensure the hotel collateral is updated.

  • Know about the facilities of the hotel and Hilton International in general
    • Be able to give correct information to fellow Team Members and/or to guests regarding the hotel and/or Sxxx Hotels and Resorts.

  • Efficient usage of all systems and good maintenance
    • Know all the functions of the computer system and eliminate minor errors in the software itself.
 
  • PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
  • A good atmosphere in the department where Team Members feel valued & recognised
    • Support the DOSM in tasks such as job interviews, appointment, team member training, assessment of performance, induction training, and consultation, if necessary, dismissals, in order to guarantee appropriate occupation of posts and productivity.
    • If necessary carries out disciplinary measures in respect of the Team Members under his/her supervision, with the aim of assuring good performance and satisfaction of Team Members.
    • Joint responsibility for maintaining standards, revise these regularly and guarantee that these are upheld by targeted training.
    • Joint responsibility for updating the Sales & Marketing Service Manuals, based on all work sequences.
 
  • FINANCE
  • Achieve/succeed the plan for the department
  • Involvement in drawing up the Marketing / Business Plans and the budget of the Hotel.
  • Involvement in drawing up the sales activities plan for the Hotel.
  • Financial reporting and figures presentations .
 
  •  SAFETY & SECURITY
  • A safe environment for our guests and Team Members at all times
    • Is aware of the joint responsibility for safety in our Hotel and abides strictly by all the safety instructions, especially when operating the machines and equipment.
    • Behave at all times in such a way as to avoid accidents.
    • Is able to raise the internal alarms correctly
    • Know how to what to do in case of an evacuation/fire alarm or other emergencies (i.e.bomb threats).
    • Ensure that all front doors and stores belonging to the department, as well as the key cabinet for the whole department, are kept locked at all times

  • Efficient and friendly support to other Team Member within own and other departments
  • Joint responsibility for a smooth and rational work sequence in the Sales& Marketing Department with the other departments in the hotel, in particular Reservations, Front Desk and the Group & Event Department
    • Take part in Communication Meetings on a regular basis.
    • Approach supervisors in confidence if any problems arise.
    • Always co-operate with colleagues and supervisors in the department.
    • Is obliged to take part in internal training courses and to implement what has been learnt in daily practice.
    • Participation in meetings and training courses
    • Optimal communication and co-operation with all other departments, in particular Front Desk, C & E , Accounting
 
  • TIDINESS & CLEANLINESS
 
  • Supervise the order and cleanliness of the reception area and the appropriate appearance of Team Members
  • Maintain tidiness in the building and clothing in the department.
  • Undertake regular inspections in the reception and hall area to ensure that the installations and equipment are in a clean, perfect condition, well maintained and replaced / renewed as required.
